So Sushi

Super fast order to table. They fit us in even when they were booked solid. Atmosphere was fun and busy! Everyone was enjoying themselves.

So Sushi is a fantastic find in Tarzana! The sushi here is not only incredibly fresh but also beautifully presented and creatively crafted – just take a look at the vibrant rolls in the picture! They offer a diverse menu, including a great set menu for lunch and dinner featuring generous portions for sushi, sashimi, and roll enthusiasts. The chefs are friendly and create a welcoming. On top of the delicious and innovative food, the service is consistently good. If you're looking for a lively spot with nice sushi that's both a treat for the eyes and the taste buds, So Sushi is a must-visit!

My recent visit to So Sushi in Woodland Hills was a delightful revelation. Beyond the undeniably fresh and exquisitely presented sushi, it was the remarkable attentiveness and genuine hospitality that truly distinguished this establishment. The chefs at the sushi bar acted as dedicated personal curators, answering questions with enthusiasm and accommodating requests with grace, all while crafting picture-perfect dishes. In a welcome contrast to the often-absent gratitude in today's service industry, the entire staff at So Sushi went out of their way to express sincere appreciation for our visit. This commitment to both culinary artistry and heartfelt service makes So Sushi a standout, offering a truly exceptional and memorable dining experience.

I’m glad they expanded to a bigger space! The ambiance is great, modern, clean, and inviting. The staff remains just as attentive as ever, and the fish is always very fresh. Whether you go for rolls, sashimi, or sushi, you really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.

This is not a local spot for me, just a city that’s on the way home. I Sat at the bar alone as planned (hoping they did have a bar), I sushi chef was really nice and recommended changes to my order to help me try new things. He was very friendly and he seemed to be having a really good time. The nigiri seemed high quality. I was I chose to come here on the way back home from work. I plan to come again!

So Sushi has been a favorite stop on my trips to LA for as long as I can remember. The sushi here is absolutely impeccable — I’ve never had better anywhere else. Everything is incredibly fresh, bursting with flavor, and beautifully prepared. I’m convinced there isn’t a single bad thing on their menu. A true gem for sushi lovers!

From the first moment we walked in to the last, the service and atmosphere was amazing! Absolutely wonderful experience! Went with my friend to grab sushi and came upon this place. Located very close to the freeway and there is a good amount of parking! We got the specialty roles and asked for some recommendations. We got #10 and #18 (lo solantro). Both delicious spicy salmon rolls! The solantro role was a little spicy and had cilantro on it so me mindful. I personally loved it! The vibes were also wonderful! Will definitely be coming back here when in the mood for sushi.

So apparently This place has been Around for along time but they just moved to this new location in the same parking shopping center ! Their sushi as so tasty !!! I love discovering these places I’ve missed out on , and have no idea how ???!!! Cause I’ve been living in this Area for over 8 years ;) What I like is that everything is super fresh and unlike other places you don’t wait forever for your food to arrive! The place is well designed and very clean It’s a great place to eat dinner with friends or family. Prices I’d say range from $20-50 per person I’ve already been there at least like 4 times in the last month so if it wasn’t that good I wouldn’t go back and you know I love to write about my great experience or the other way around There is also lots of free parking in the shopping center for free as well The only thing they need to work on is the service to pay a bit more attention to what you request But again the sushi is Fabulous!!! And if you are a sushi lover I highly recommend this spot!!! Enjoy :)) I only have some pho cause we were hungry and ate fast lol but I promise to update with more photos on my next visit
